Developing dishonesty disclaimers

Provide students the articles below. The first article debunks claims made by a police official about bail reform. The second article quotes that same police official but does not address his history of inaccuracy. Have students identify places in the second article where the reporter could include disclaimers about the source’s history and have students write the disclaimers they would use.
